Hi,

As Seen In…

Nice to Meet You!
My Money Story is real, messy, and deeply human… from scarcity and debt to financial independence.
I started with debt, chose meaning anyway, and learned to make numbers work for real life. After college and overseas volunteering, I earned a graduate degree (years of underearning and student loans), moved to New Zealand, landed my first professional job (a profession of underearning), and bought a house.
After returning to the U.S. seven years later, I met my husband; we bought a home, had an amazing kid, and aimed for Coast Financial Independence (FI). Today, he’s retired at 50, and I work three days a week.
The secret wasn’t a perfect budget—it was awareness of money and its impact on our life, and a values-first plan with flexibility for the ebbs and flows of life and simple money rhythms through each season.
